Sanliurfa is one of the oldest civilizations in Mezopotamia. It’s history is 13,500 years long. This historical city is the landlord of one of the oldest architectural structures and agricultural methods.

     This city is a center for fatih tourism in Anatolia. Pagan and Sabii temples are located in this city. It is also the birth place of prophet Abraham and hometown of prophet Moses, suayb, Jacob and Elyesa. Lastly, Urfa is blessed by Jesus Christ.

     Harran, Suayb city and Sogmantar are also well known by their rich architectural structures.

     This is the city where cigkofte found its taste from isot (dried-red peper). Mira (bitter-coffe) and other traditional foods, beverages and desserts are being serverd to people who are open to new tastes. Ataturk dam (world’s-3rd biggest dam) brings another importance to this city.
